Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its latest generation Vito van, which will be available in its homeland in front-, rear- and all-wheel drive configurations.
The new Vito range begins at €17,990 (US$24,150) in Germany for the Vito 109 CDI.
As before, the new Mercedes-Benz Vito is available in a number of different body styles. Three body lengths are available 4895mm, 5140mm and 5370mm. The tallest body configuration tops out at 1910mm. Payload ranges from 1289kg to 1369kg in a RWD model.
Driver and passenger airbags, as well as seatbelt warnings, attention assist, crosswind assist and a tyre pressure monitoring system, are standard throughout the range. Tourer models fitted with seats in the rear can be equipped with up to eight airbags.
Optional equipment includes blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assistance, LED driving lights, LED headlights, LED indicators and parking assistance.
According to Mercedes-Benz, a mid-length Vito weighs 1,761kg.

Mercedes-Benz notes that the Vito 4×4 model comes standard with the company’s 7G-Tronic automatic transmission, but fails to specify which engines it’s available with.
