It began with the AMG SLC43, and with the Mercedes-AMG E43 4Matic, AMG’s push down market and away from its roots continues at great pace.
The W213 Mercedes-AMG E43 4Matic has a 3-liter twin-turbo V6 under the hood with 295kW (401hp) at 6,100rpm and 520Nm (384 lb-ft) at 2,500rpm.
With the standard 9-speed auto and 31:69 front:rear AWD system, the E43 can do 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h (155mph).
The E43 rides on a standard adjustable Air Body Control suspension and has five transmission modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual).
The E43 4Matic will debut at the New York Auto Show in March.
