To celebrate its new Innovation and Engineering Center California, Volkswagen has combined a classic Type 2 Microbus body with many modern technologies.
The powertrain has an electric motor with 89kW (120hp) and 235Nm (173 lb-ft), a 10kWh battery, and a 2,500W charger.
Other advanced tech includes Porsche developed active pneumatic suspension, facial recognition system built into the driver’s window, voice activated intelligent assistant, and a 3D holographic infotainment system built into the dashboard.
There’s also newly designed orange wheels, mirror supports, and interior modifications.
