The 2019 Volkswagen Atlas Basecamp concept has raised suspension, new wheels, light bars, all terrain tires, and a roof rack with bike mounts.
Based on the Atlas SEL Premium, the Basecamp concept has a H&R lift kit raising the ride height by around 1.5″ (38mm), and fifteen52 Traverse MX Concept wheels with 265/70R17 all-terrain tires.
There’s also a Front Runner Slimline II roof rack system with bike holders, front and rear offroad LED light bars on the front and rear, and a HIVE EX compact expedition trailer with matching wheels and tires.
The Atlas Basecamp has a 276hp (206kW) 3.6L VR6 engine, an 8-speed auto, and AWD.
