The final major update to the Holden Commodore, the VFII update, is available with the more powerful LS3 6.2-liter V8 gas engine in many models.
The naturally aspirated LS3 6.2-liter V8 has 304kW/408hp and 570Nm/420 lb-ft. For maximum sound there’s a bi-modal exhaust with a ‘unique Holden designed “Baillie Tip”’ and a mechanical sound enhancer.
The new LS3 6.2-liter V8 is standard on the Commodore SS, SS-V, SS-V Redline, and long wheelbase Caprice V. The LS3 is optional on the Calais V.
LS3 equipped models have hood vents, while all sports models feature a new front fascia. There’s clear taillights on Commodore sedan models and LED taillights on Commodore wagon models.
