The company still has “no plans” to bring the Toyota Yaris GR to the US, which is a shame because we need the 200kW (268hp) AWD hot hatch yesterday.
Toyota USA got everyone’s hopes up when it tweeted “Does the North American market need another hot hatch? Let us know what you think!”
Despite every response being a “YES!”, a Toyota spokesperson told Motor1 “there are no plans to bring the GR Yaris to the U.S.”
So, keep dreaming, and writing angry letters to your local Congressperson!
