The Toyota Corolla 50th Anniversary Special debuts the look of the facelifted North American E170 Corolla sedan, which has a new sportier nose.
The facelifted 2017 Corolla sedan has new headlights, and a bumper with large fake air intakes and an enlarged lower grille for more sports focussed look. The taillamps are now all red.
Only 8,000 50th Anniversary Special Edition models will be built, and each will one will feature 17-inch alloys, a 7-inch high resolution touchscreen, 4.2-inch trip computer display, proximity entry key, push button start, LED headlamps, and black cherry contrast stitching.
The 50th Anniversary Special Edition is available purple (black cherry), silver and blizzard pearl. Sales begin in the fall of 2016.
