The 2012-2016 Chevrolet Sonic (T300) replaced the Aveo in North America. Built in South Korea, it had digitial instruments and hidden rear door handles.
Sources have told GM Authority the Chevrolet Sonic has been discontinued in Canada, although the car remains on the company’s Canadian website.
For 2017, the Chevrolet Sonic facelift incorporates a new more sedate front end corporate design, new taillights, and update electronics.
The Chevrolet Sonic RS features a standard 1.4-liter turbo with 138hp/103kW and 148 lb-ft/200Nm. A 6-speed automatic or manual is available.
