Smart’s still around, people! Look they still sell cars! In Europe! And in the US too! And it’s going fully electric! Hey, everyone?
In order to remain relevant, and because sales were tiny anyway, Smart has already gone fully electric in North America. And it will go that way too, eventually, in Europe.
And this concept is here to remind us of that. It doesn’t preview a new model or point to some glorious future. It just is.
“The Smart ForEase is proof that smart thinks unconventionally. Its design is reduced and pure,” Gorden Wagener, Daimler’s Chief Design Officer, said.
The ForEase is based on the ForTwo Cabrio and has a moderately redesigned body with recessed door handles, an eye grabbing metallic white body, a shorter windscreen, and a double bubble rear.
