The photos were taken as the new generation Skoda Superb was undertaking tests prior to its release next year. Peaking out from underneath the car’s camouflage, it’s clear that the third generation Superb wears body surfacing similar to the new Fabia.
Like the current second generation car, the car above seems to have a sedan-style body shape that hides a large rear hatch. The new car sits on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB architecture, similar to the variant used underneath the latest European Volkswagen Passat.
According to Skoda, the new Superb will debut at an event in Prague, will make its public debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show, and then go on sale across Europe from mid-2015.
