Skoda has decided to officially issue a sketch of the third generation Superb after it was posted on a number of websites.
Earlier this month Skoda released some spy pictures of its third generation Skoda Superb. To go along with these, a few publications managed to get their hands on an official design sketch of the new car, clearly showing the look of its front and sides.
The Czech car maker has now decided to offer that sketch (above) to all and sundry.
Skoda says that the new Superb will debut at an event in Prague next year. Its public debut will be in March at the Geneva Motor Show. Sales are scheduled to start, across Europe, from mid-2015.
The new car will be based on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB (transverse engine, front- and all-wheel drive) platform. It’s likely, judging from the spy photos, that the third-gen car will again feature a sedan body shape masking a rear liftback.
