GM has shown a Buick-badged version of the Opel Cascada convertible to a meeting of Buick dealers indicating, perhaps, that US sales are on the cards.
The Opel/Vauxhall Cascada is based on the Astra and, by extension, the Buick Verano. In Europe the Cascada is available with turbocharged petrol and diesel motors. Petrol options include the 88kW and 103kW versions of GM’s 1.4-litre, and 125kW and 147kW versions of the 1.6-litre. 121kW and 143kW versions of the company’s 2-litre diesel are also available.
