The Nissan X-Trail 4Dogs Concept takes a humdrum SUV and turns its into a luxury conveyance for our fabulous canine friends.
Based on the Nissan X-Trail (Rogue in the US), the 4Dogs Concept has a specially fitted out boot.
There’s a cargo divider to keep people and dogs apart, but the boot actually looks more luxurious than the rest of the X-Trail as there’s quilted wipe-clean leather lining the boot walls.
Also in the back are two comfy dog beds with integrated safety latches, covered side compartments to store dog treats and equipment, and a two-way dog monitor with an audio connection and a 10-inch LCD screen so the dogs can see the rest of the family.
Underneath the dog area are two slide out storage drawers, one holding a 360-degree dog washer, and the other hiding a slide out ramp, so your four legged friends can enter the boot under their own steam.
A built-in dog drier will ensure that your pooches do spend their trip home or away wet.
According to a survey of 1,300 dog owners, carried out by the UK’s Kennel Club, 98.7 percent of dog owners transport their pet in their car, and 54.7 percent wanted their car to be more accessible for their dog.
