The Mercedes-Benz EQS will one day be a new flagship electric sedan for the company’s range, and it will be based on the next generation S-Class.
The Vision EQS at the 2019 Frankfurt Auto Show provides a few clues about that car’s design.
We’re not sure if the concept’s powertrain will be carried over to the production car, but the Vision EQS has two electric motors for through the wire AWD.
Together the motors make a total of 350kW (469hp) and 760Nm (561 lb-ft). The 0-100km/h time is under 4.5s and a top speed of over 200km/h (124mph).
The battery capacity is around 100kWh, and the WLTP range is estimated to be about 700km (434mi). Using a 350kW charger, the Vision EQS can be topped up to 80% in 20 minutes.
