The Chevrolet SS and Caprice PPV have come to the end of the road, with the last SS and PPV sedans rolling out of Holden’s factory in Australia.
The last ever Chevrolet SS sport sedans and long wheelbase Chevrolet Caprice PPV police sedans exited Holden’s factory in late May. The Holden factory will close for good in October, and bring to an end Australian car production and the RWD Commodore range.
The Chevrolet SS is a rebadged V8 Holden Commodore for North America. The last model has its engine bay signed by factory workers.
In total, Holden made 12,953 Chevrolet SS sedans and 7,305 Chevrolet Caprice PPV sedans.
