Based on the Mercedes-Benz GLA crossover, the Infiniti QX30 scales the styling of the Q30 hatch up to a higher riding body and quasi-SUV looks.
The QX30 has standard roof rails and stands 60.2 inches (1,530mm) tall. It will be built in Nissan’s factory in Sunderland, UK, alongside the Q30 hatch.
The QX30 will have a selection of diesel and gas engines from Mercedes-Benz under the hood. The interior is a straight lift of the Q30’s, which does a decent job of hiding its Mercedes-Benz origins, although the window switches, steering wheel, and infotainment system belie its origins.
The QX30 goes on sale in 2016.
