Hyundai is turning the Ioniq from a single model into a whole range of EVs based on the new electric only E-GMP platform.
The Hyundai 45 concept will become the Hyundai Ioniq 5 coupe SUV when it goes into production in 2021. The Prophecy concept will become the Hyundai Ioniq 6 sedan in 2022.
And there will also be a Hyundai Ioniq 7 large SUV due in early 2024.
The E-GMP platform will also be used by Genesis and Kia, which is developing a hatch around the size of the Ioniq 5.
