With sales of large FWD sedans falling, and the new Genesis brand to protect, the Hyundai Azera is being killed off in the United States.
Even though the Hyundai Grandeur, the Korean version of the Azera, was renewed for a sixth generation in 2016.
Sales of the Azera are down 30 percent to 1,792 to the end of June, while the large sedan segment is down 18 percent.
