The 2021 Toyota Highlander is the first time the SUV has an XSE model, and it includes a unique front fascia with a new (better) grille.
There’s also larger lower air intake and unique lower spoiler, 20″ machined wheels with black accents, new rocker panels, dual chromed exhaust tips, black roof rails, mirrors and window moldings, higher-rate springs and rear stabilizer bar, seats with Softex fake leather and fabric, carbonfiber dash trim, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, Android Auto and 5 USB ports.
The only engine is 3.5L V6 with 220kW (295hp), 8-speed auto, and FWD or torque vectoring AWD.
Handling is improved with lower friction shocks, retuned electric power steering.
Options include a 2 tone black and red leather interior, and a 1200W 11-speaker JBL sound system.
