The 2002/2003 Mitsubishi Space Star had a new front bumper with slimmer headlamps, and a different grille.
It is based on the same platform as the Mitsubishi Carisma and Volvo S40/V40, built alongside its siblings at the Nedcar factory in the Netherlands.
The Space Star was available with 1.3L, 1.6L and 1.8L I4 gas engines or a 1.9L turbo-diesel, and seats five in a body that’s just 4,030mm long (158.7″).
