The Opel/Vauxhall Ampera is a Chevrolet Volt with a completely revised front-end design. Under the skin, the two share a series plug-in hybrid drivetrain that’s driven primarily by an electric motor, and assisted by a 1.4-litre petrol engine that recharges the batteries.
