The SUVs have won, the seventh generation (G21) BMW 3-Series wagon isn’t coming to the States, but the sixth generation (F31) model will still be available.
For 2019, at least. Both the F31 3-Series wagon and F35 3-Series GT hatch will continue on sale for the 2019 model year, but will probably cease production once the G21 3-Series wagon debuts in Europe next year.
A BMW spokesperson told CarBuzz, “BMW of North America has no plans to bring the next generation 3-Series Sports Wagon to the US market.”
The 3-Series wagon is currently sold in here one form only: 330i xDrive with a 2L turbo I4 with 248hp (185kW) and 258 lb-ft (350Nm), AWD, and an 8-speed auto.
