All models of the Fiat 124 Spider, except for the top of the range Abarth, have been suddenly withdrawn from sale in the UK.
Fiat has yet to confirm why these 124 Spider models have been axed in the UK, but Autocar believes it’s related to its engine.
These models use Fiat Chrysler’s older 1.4L MultiAir turbocharged 4-cylinder gas engine, which doesn’t comply with the WLTP emissions testing scheme, and has already been deleted from European Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Jeep Renegade models.
