Ferrari F8 Tributo vs 488 GTB: Differences compared side by side

The F8 is clearly a major facelift of the 488, but a facelift nonetheless.

The front bumper design and S-Duct hood are new, as are the headlights units, which now include ducts to help cool the brakes.

The F8's roof and doors are carried over from the 488, and possibly the front and rear wings too. The F8 does have new side sills with more body colour components, and new alloy wheels.

At the back the F8 has a new quad-tail-light treatment, and a much more sculpted rear bumper and wing. The F8 Tributo weighs 1,330kg (2,932 lb), down around 40kg (88 lb) from the 488 GTB.

The rear windscreen of the F8 is made from Lexan and includes louvres to help extract heat from the engine bay. The F8 also features the more powerful 3.9L turbo V8 from the 488 Pista, which makes 530kW (710hp) and 770Nm (568 lb-ft). The 488 GTB's version made just 493kW (660hp) and 760Nm (560 lb-ft).

The F8 has a redesigned dashboard with circular vents, a new 7-inch touchscreen for the passenger, and a thinner steering wheel.
