Production of the DS 4 and DS 5 hatchbacks has stopped, with the luxury carmaker selling vehicles from remaining stocks.
So hurry into your DS dealership if you really want a DS 4 or DS 5, or just a great bargain. Actually, you won’t need to hurry, apparently there’s “extensive supply”, but negotiate hard anyway.
In 2017, DS sold 11,746 4 hatchbacks across Europe – there were 170,431 Volkswagen Golfs sold in the same period. The DS 5 did even worse, selling on 5,738 units in 2017.
“It was always planned that DS 4 and DS 5 production would end in 2018 as part of this new plan,” a spokesman told Autocar. “This plan will also see the reveal of a new all-electric compact model at the Paris motor show that will get our electrification plans going.”
