Dodge has updated its slow-selling Viper coupe for the 2015 model year with a new trim level (GT) and an updated Time Attack (TA) model.
For all models, the 8.4-litre V10 has been boosted to 645hp (481kW) from 640hp (477kW). Torque remains unchanged at 600 lb-ft (814Nm). Fuel economy improves 1mpg to 20mpg (11.8L/100km); a 6-speed manual is standard and the Viper is capable of a top speed of 206mph (332km/h).
Sitting above the entry-level Viper and below the Viper GTS, the new GT trim level adds driver configurable suspension with Bilstein DampTronic Select shocks and 5-mode stability control. The interior is upgraded with seats trimmed in Nappa leather and Alcantara.
A new Time Attack 2.0 (TA 2.0) special edition is available on the 2015 Viper. Key improvements include a new aero package featuring carbon fibre front splitters and a larger rear wing, 2-mode Bilstein DampTronic suspensions, carbon fibre cross-braces, high performance Brembo brakes, and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres.
