Acura has dropped the ILX Hybrid for the 2015 model year after low sales since its introduction two years ago.
The company sold only 972 ILX Hybrids in 2012 and 1,461 in 2013. Total ILX sales for those years totalled 12,231 and 20,430 respectively.
Speaking to Green Car Reports Acura says that there are still ILX Hybrid in showrooms, so any interested buyers should head down to their nearest Acura dealerand press for a good deal.
The Acura ILX mild hybrid featured a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 111hp (83kW) and 127 lb-ft (172Nm). This is paired to small 15kW electric motor.
