Chrysler and Dodge are recalling around 780,000 of their MY2010 to MY2014 people movers over a possible defect related to the third-row electric window vent switches.
The switch electrically which open and closes the third-row vent window is located on the driver’s door armrest. Exposure to moisture, such as drink spills, rain or snow, may cause the switch to short circuit. So far there are 36 cases that Chrysler knows of, but there have been no injuries as a result.
Owners can take their cars to their local Chrysler or Dodge dealer to have the switch disconnected prior to having the issue fixed.
