Chevrolet has announced pricing for the Z06 version of the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible.
The C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 starts at US$78,995 for the coupe (above) with the convertible (below) beginning at US$83,995.
Under the hood of the Z06 is a supercharged 6.2-litre V8, dubbed the LT4, with 650hp (485kW) and 650 lb-ft (881Nm).
Those wanting a bit more downforce can opt for the US$2,995 Carbon Fiber Ground Effects that brings a new front splitter, rocker panels and a more prominent rear spoiler all fashioned out of carbon fibre.
There’s also the US$7,995 Z07 Performance Package which brings carbon ceramic brakes, adjustable front and rear aero bits, the Carbon Fiber Ground Effects kit, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup tyres.
A Performance Data Recorder that mixes GPS tracking, data logger and a windscreen camera is standard, as is cylinder deactivation, electric limited-slip diff, launch control and magnetic ride control suspension.
