Surprise! Ford has given its Focus-based C344 C-Max a Focus-like facelift, complete with an Aston Martin-style grille and revised headlights.
Both the regular 5-seat C-Max and the 7-seat Grand C-Max have been updated. Colour options have been extended by the red (C-Max) and poo brown (Grand C-Max) that you can see above. As before the Grand C-Max features sliding rear doors.
Available items include LED running lights, bi-xenon headlights with adaptive front lighting system, configurable key settings, climate control, rear cross traffic alert, automated exiting from parking spots, and automated parking now with the ability to enter perpendicular spaces.
The audio system now features Sync 2, voice recognition, an 8-inch high-res touchscreen and satellite navigation. Top-spec models are shipped with a 10-speaker, subwoofer-equipped Sony sound system.

- 1-litre 74kW turbocharged (EcoBoost) 3-cylinder – (100PS) and 92kW (125PS)
- New 1.5-litre turbocharged (EcoBoost) 4-cylinder – 110kW (150PS) or 134kW (180PS)
Diesel
- New 1.5-litre turbo-diesel – 70kW (95PS) or 88kW (120PS), and 77kW (105PS) Econetic version that drinks just 3.7L/100km and emits nary 99g/km of CO2.
- Updated 2-litre turbo-diesel with 4 percent more power, 20 percent improve fuel economy
All drivetrain options have been fitted automatic engine start/stop.
