Groupe PSA (Peugeot) has stopped production of the Regal liftback and TourX wagon, and the Buick range is now all SUVs.
The Regal and Regal TourX only lasted this long because of contractual obligations between GM and Groupe PSA. GM sold Opel and Vauxhall to Groupe PSA in 2017, and signed contracts to continue supply of the German made liftback and wagon for the US.
PSA will continue to produce its version of the Regal, the Opel Insignia and Vauxhall Insignia until it has replacements based on its own platforms.
The Buick Regal continues in China where it is sold in a unique sedan body.
