The Buick Encore Sport Touring has fixed one problem that many automotive journalists have identified: a lack of power.
Under the hood, the Encore Sport Touring has a turbocharged 1.4-liter direct-injection motor with 153hp/177 lb-ft (112kW/240Nm). Power goes to the ground via a standard 6-speed auto.
Standard features include automatic engine stop/start, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, blue-tinted headlights, 4G LTE connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot and 3 months free data, reversing camera, 10 airbags, Bose noise cancelling system, heated mirrors, dual-zone climate control, rear cross traffic alert, and blind spot monitoring.
AWD, Bose audio system, sunroof and satellite navigation are optional extras.
The Buick Encore Sport Touring goes on sale in the fall of 2015.
