GM has unveiled the Opel Ampera-e, a lightly restyled version of the all-electric Chevrolet Bolt hatchback for the European market.
Although no on sale date has been announced, the Bolt is scheduled to go on sale in the US at the end of 2016, the Ampera-e won’t make to Europe until some time in 2017.
No target pricing has been set for the Ampera-e, but in the US, the Bolt will be priced at US$37,500 or around US$2,500 more than the Tesla Model 3. Expect something similar on the Continent.
The Bolt/Ampera-e is expected to a driving range of 320km or 200mi.
