The Cadillac boss, Johan de Nysschen, has told Car and Driver that the Cadillac CT6 will debut a new 4.2-litre twin-turbocharged V8 gas engine with power “in the upper 400s”.
The V8 engine will used in a non-V-Series model, and will be the car will overall tuned for comfort, so something like an upper crust version of the CT6 Premium is likely to be the first model to feature the new V8.
It’s likely that it will drive the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic (Hydramatic) gearbox.
