The Lexus LF-FC is said to be a “peek into the design and technology direction of the brand’s future flagship sedan”, aka the next LS sedan.
Sexier and more coupe like than the current LS, the LF-FC is claimed to be a “4-door coupe” by Lexus. The car rides on 21-inch aluminum and carbonfiber-reinforced plastic rims.
As Toyota is currently obsessed with hydrogen fuel cells, following the launch of the Mirai sedan, the LF-FC hasa fuel cell drivetrain. There are two in-wheel motors at the front, and one for the rear axle.
The fuel cell stack is at the rear of the car, while the hydrogen tanks are shaped in a T-formation.
