At the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, Subaru will unveiled the Impreza Concept that previews next year’s new generation Impreza.
The concept sketch above looks sexy, and no doubt the concept itself will be pretty good looking, but don’t forget that Subaru has past form in delivering wonderful preview concepts that fail to translate into the production car.
Remember the 2013 WRX Concept? Sexy, coupe like, low slung, and so very different to the Impreza that it’s based on? The final production version was definitely between the Impreza sedan, thanks to its new front end and wider fenders, but it wasn’t much like the concept.
So, steel yourself for a little bit of disappointment. When the 2017 Impreza does drop next year, enthusiasts will be disappointed, but the car will still sell by boat load.
