The 2016 Chevrolet SS has received the facial changes made to the VFII Holden Commodore, but not the changes to the rear, like its transparent taillights.
There’s the revised grille, bumper, air intakes, LED units, and 19-inch alloys from the VFII Holden Commodore. There’s also the Commodore’s dual-mode exhaust for quieter around the town driving and loud full throttle driving.
Unlike the Commodore, which received the LS3 6.2-liter V8 for the first time, the Chevy SS already had the LS3. So outputs from the 6.2-liter V8 remain unchanged at 415hp/310kW and 415 lb-ft/563Nm.
