Based on the new aluminum XF sedan, the Jaguar F-Pace is the company’s first SUV and will be offered with a choice of four drivetrains from 2016.
There are four engines to choose from: a 2-liter I4 turbo-diesel and gas turbo, and a 3-liter V6 turbo-diesel and gas supercharged.
Despite aluminum construction, the F-Pace is a pretty weighty SUV starting at 1,665kg (3,670 lb) for the 2-liter turbo-diesel.
Tech incldues 10.2-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch HD instrument display, heads-up display, waterproof activity key, torque vectoring, adaptive dynamics, and Wi-Fi hotspot. Goes on sale in 2016.
