The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro online configurator is now live, and pricing for the sixth generation pony car starts from US$26,695.
After being unveiled earlier this year, the new Chevrolet Camaro has been priced. The coupe range starts at US$26,695 for the LT (1LT package) coupe.
Standard equipment from the 1LT up includes MyLink infotainment with Apple CarPlay, 4G LTE compatibility with Wi-Fi hotspot, driving mode selector, remote starter for automatic cars, push button start, reversing camera, climate control, leather flat bottom steering wheel, LED driving lights, electric power steering, electric seats (8-way driver and 6-way passenger), and electronic parking brake.
The optional RS package includes 20-inch alloy wheels, HID headlights, LED taillights, RS grille and rear spoiler.
Powering the LT is a standard 275hp (205kW) 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine or an optional 3.6-liter V6.
The 1SS has differential, transmission and engine oil coolers, Brembo brakes, Goodyear asymmetric run-flat tires, and rev matching and LSD on manual cars.
The 2SS has interior ambient lighting, Bose stereo, head-up display, wireless phone charging, and heated and ventilated front seats.
For the SS there’s a standard 6.2-liter V8 455hp (339kW) motor.
The V6 and V8 coupe will start arriving in showrooms in late 2015. The convertible and 2-liter turbo arrive in the first quarter of 2016.
