The 2016 Lexus GS facelift brings a more aggressive spindle grille, two piece headlights, revised taillights, and a 2-liter turbo-4 in place of the 2.5L V6.
Like in the IS, the GS sedan will now feature a 2-liter turbocharged I4 as its base engine in the GS200t, replacing the 2.5-liter V6 from the old GS250. The 3.5-liter V6 in the GS350 now makes a little more power and torque.
The updated front end has a much more prominent spindle grille with new IS-style bi-LED headlights standard on either side.
New safety technology for the facelift GS includes pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, intelligent high beam and all-speed radar cruise control.
