The new MY2016 Chevrolet Colorado Duramax Turbo-diesel has a 2.8-liter 4-cylinder engine with 181hp/369 lb-ft (135kW/500Nm).
The new diesel Colorado is goes on sale in the US in the fall of 2015. It will be available in LT and Z71 Crew Cab models. The price will be US$3,730 above a similarly equipped 3.6-litre V6 Colorado, which means that prices will start from US$32,950 for the RWD Colorado LT Duramax with a short box.
The Duramax Colorado can tow 7,700lb (3,492kg) in RWD guise and 7,600lb (3,447kg) in AWD form. It comes standard with the 6L50 6-speed auto and G80 automatic locking rear differential.
