The MY2015 Toyota Tundra will only be offered with the company’s 4.6-litre and 5.7-litre iForce V8s, with the 4-litre V6 dropped from the range.
The 4-litre V6 engine (1GR-FE), with its 236hp (176kW) and 266 lb-ft (361Nm) of torque, have been removed from the MY2015 Toyota Tundra range.
This means that the base engine is now the 4.6-litre V8 (1UR-FE), which develops 310hp (231kW) and 327 lb-ft (443Nm) of torque. According to Toyota, though, the most popular engine is still the top-spec 5.7-litre V8 (3UR-FE) that makes 381hp (284kW) and 401 lb-ft (544Nm) of torque.
