The special edition Toyota Mark X Yellow Label adds a bit show to Toyota’s rear-wheel drive sedan, but, despite the name, you don’t necessarily have to order it in eye-searing yellow.
The Toyota Mark X Yellow Label can be had in yellow, pearl white, black and silver, while the interior can be specified in either black leather and black fabric or yellow leather on black fabric.
Regardless of your exterior and interior colour choice, all Yellow Label Mark Xs are equipped with yellow piping for the seats and floor mats, and yellow stitching for the steering wheel, gear lever and door pulls.
Building on the Mark X 250G, the Yellow Label is powered exclusively by the company’s 149kW/243Nm 2.5-litre V6, which is hooked up to a 6-speed automatic.
Three variants are available, beginning with the ¥2,833,600 (US$27,000) Mark X 250G Yellow Label, all-wheel drive ¥3,121,200 (US$29,700) 250G Four Yellow Label, and the RWD ¥3,142,800 (US$29,900) Mark X 250G S Package Yellow Label.
Standard equipment on all models includes alloy wheels, stainless scuff plates for the doors, powered front seats (8-way for the driver’s seat and 4-way for the passenger’s), push button start, proximity entry key, cruise control, and UV glass.
