Mercedes-Benz will soon resurrect the Maybach name for a super-high-end version of the S-Class limousine. You can now add the GL-Class large SUV to Maybach’s potential roster.
According to Motoring.com.au, the S-Class Maybach will be a stretched version of the long-wheelbase S-Class and will be branded as the S-Class by Maybach. Despite its longer wheelbase, the S-Class Maybach will be shorter than the planned S-Class Pullman, and will only feature two rows of seats, unlike the three-row Pullman.
It’s unclear whether the GL-Class by Maybach will feature a longer wheelbase or just more luxury and styling modifications. Unsurprisingly the key markets for the GL-Class Maybach will be the Middle East, Russia and the USA.
