Some feared Mercedes-Benz would go soft with the new EQG SUV, but it’s (basically) just a G-Class with EV power and some styling changes.
It has the same body on frame design as the G-Class, which was throughly updated in 2018.
Mercedes-Benz hasn’t announced any details about the EQG’s powertrain, but the Concept’s styling changes will mostly go through into the production.
There’s a new blocked off grille with illumination, unique wheel designs, and fancy LED lights. Hopefully the spare wheel is returned to the EQG.
