The 2021 Audi E-Tron GT has been launched in Quattro and RS trim, and clothes the Porsche Taycan platform in a sharper body.
The base (for now) Quattro has has 2 electric motors with 350kW (469hp) and 630Nm (465 lb-ft). The 0-100km/h time is 4.1s, its top speed is 245km/h (152mph), and 487km (303mi) WLTP range or 238mi (383km) according to the EPA.
The RS also has two motors, but they make a total of 440kW (590hp) and 830Nm (612 lb-ft). The 0-100km/h is slashed to 3.3s. US EPA range is reduced slightly to 232mi (373km).
Both models (like the AWD Taycan models) have a 2-speed rear transmission, and DC fast charging that can top up the battery to 80% in 22 minutes.
The E-Tron GT goes on sale in the US from the summer of 2021. The Quattro will be priced from around US$100,000, while the RS will be around US$140,000
