Production of the 2020 Bentley Flying Spur is under way. With all Bentley’s teething problems with the new Porsche developed MSB platform, that’s a relief.
Problems tuning the 8-speed DCT in the RWD/AWD platform has severely held up production rates for the Continental coupe and convertible.
At least, the MSB platform means the engine sits further back for better proportions, and better handling.
The Flying Spur will launch with a 6L twin-turbo W12 with 467kW (626hp) and 900Nm (664 lb-ft), and standard AWD.
