The 2020 Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet is smaller than both convertibles, but with both models gone, it’s now the only soft top in the Volkswagen range.
The T-Roc Cabrio is available with two turbocharged gas engines a 85kW (114hp) 1L 3-cylinder, and a 110kW (148hp) 1.5L 4-cylinder. A 6-speed manual is standard on both, and a 7-speed DSG is optional on the 1.5L.
For safety the Cabrio has a reinforced windscreen frame, and a pop up roll over protector that can cover the rear seats.
Unlike the regular SUV, the Cabrio has only two doors, and its electric fabric roof can be raised or lowered in 9s t speeds up 30km/h (19mph).
