The Lexus RX is one of the linchpins of the brand’s range, and has been refreshed for 2020. See what’s been updated in this side by side comparison.
2020 F/L2015-19
Externally, this is pretty minor facelift, so there are no sheetmetal changes. Both SWB (RX) and LWB (RXL) versions have been updated at the same time.
2020 F/L2015-19
The facelift includes a new front bumper, and a revised spindle grille, which is marginally shorter, a slightly different frame and a more textured insert.

Lexus has also revised the headlight units, which are shorter and no longer feature a jagged inner edge. Triple beam LED units are available on top-end models.

For 2020, the RX has new look 18-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels.
2020 F/L2015-19
The rear bumper design is said to have changed, but it's rather hard to tell what the differences are.
2020 F/L2015-19
The tail-light graphics are clearly new, though. Instead of the L motif stretching for the entire height of the tail-light units, they now only occupy the top portion.

These two photos are of the standard wheelbase model. Both the LWB and SWB models have the same changes applied. All the other exterior shots used in this comparison are of the longer L variant.
2020 F/L2015-19
Just as with the exterior, there's no grand, sweeping overhaul of the interior. The dashboard is carried over pretty much unchanged, although there are new trim and colour options.
2020 F/L2015-19
The biggest overall upgrade is Lexus' new touchscreen infotainment system (available with either an 8- or 12.3-inch screen). The new system supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Finally!
2020 F/L2015-19
Lexus has also upgraded the Remote Touch system, replacing the previous trackball-like device with the more recent trackpad system, but we think most people will use the touchscreen instead.
2020 F/L2015-19
For the US, the two powertrains are unchanged: a 3.5L V6 in the RX350, and a 3.5L V6 hybrid in the RX450h.
2020 F/L2015-19
The standard safety package has been upgraded, and now includes low light pedestrian detection, road sign recognition, and lane keeping assistance.
