The 2020 Mercedes-AMG CLA35 shares its powertrain with the A35 sedan and hatch, but is a little less practical and a hint sportier than its siblings.
Under the hood it has a 2L turbo I4 with 225kW (306hp) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft). A 7-speed DCT and AWD are standard, just like in the A35 sedan and hatch.
But despite having the sportier looking body, with frameless windows and an arched roof line, the CLA35 has a slower 0-100km/h time 4.9s, while the A35 sedan can do the same sprint in 4.8s.
